Dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) technology to increase the transmission capacity of more than one optical channel to a single fiber. These channels are used in the optical multiplexer (Mux) together, and then through a single optical fiber transmission to the hub or OTN, where re-use demultiplexer (Demux) to separate them. These separate channels can now be routed to a single node or node group to meet the orientation of service requirements of the system. Mux and Demux modules provide high-density low-cost solution for this application.
