DWDM optical transceiver module


DWDM  is the  Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing technology, refers to a fiber optic data transmission technology,this technique uses the wavelength of the laser in accordance withthe bit parallel transmission or string line transmission in optical fiber to transmit data. DWDM optical modules is a kind of dense wavelength division multiplexing optical module .There are 40 channels for choose.
The DWDM SFP+ is specifically designed for carriers and large enterprises that require a scalable, flexible, cost-effective system for multiplexing, transporting and protecting high-speed data, storage, voice and video applications in point-to-point, add/drop, ring, mesh and star network topologies. Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) enables service providers to accommodate many hundreds of aggregated services of any sub-rate protocol without installing additional dark fiber. It is therefore the choice for the highest-bandwidth applications, such as 10GbE, 4G Fibre Channel, 40Gbit/s and 100Gbit/s in the future.

The DWDM XFP optical module is so-called DWDM (DenseWavelength Division Multiplexing) XFP package optical modules.
FiberStore offer DWDM XFP 40km/80km/120km Small Form Factor 10Gb/s transceivers comply with the current XFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) Specification. They support DWDM 10Gb/s SONET/SDH, DWDM 10-Gigabit Ethernet and 10-Gigabit Fibre Channel applications. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in the XFP MSA.
