xfp module-BIDI XFP&CWDM XFP

XFP-10 Gigabit Small Form Factor Pluggable .  XFP is a hot-swappable optical transceiver  independent of the communication protocol.

Usually  avelength of the transmission of light is 850nm, 1310nm or 1550nm for 10G bps SONET / SDH, Fibre Channel, gigabit Ethernet, 10 of gigabit Ethernet and other applications, including DWDM link. The XFP contains digital diagnostic modules similar to the SFF-8472 , but was extended to provide a powerful diagnostic tool.

XFI-electrical interface specification is part of the XFP the Multi Source Agreement specifications.

XFP was developmented  by the XFP the Multi Source Agreement Group.
